Please try deactivating and reactivating the Plugin a few times. Sometimes it will silently fail to update the tables in the database when updating the plugin.
Thank you for the suggestion. I have deactivated/activated the plugin several times over the course of the week with no success.
I am getting a bit concerned since event registration was announced as open. So far two persons contacted me about the problems. I can only guess how many persons have not bothered reporting and may not try again.
I found the issue on my site. I was using the short code for the single event registration and hadn’t created a secondary page with the {EVRREGIS} short code. So when someone was trying to register it wasn’t pushing their info through to get confirmed. I created a new page titles ‘registration confirmation’ and put the short code {EVRREGIS} there. I matched that with the backend setting for the registration page and everything ran smoothly.
My understanding is that once registrants enter their information that they are then directed to PayPal to pay for the event. It is after that point when you can redirect them to a confirmation page.
The “registration confirmed” page you mentioned shows the event link, which is the page persons were on to begin with. There is no payment page.
Fprasuhn – yes that is correct but I am not accepting payments. My issue was resolved because I hadn’t set up the {EVRREGIS} page. I only had a page with the single event registration short code on it. Not sure what your issue is about.
Thanks for all the help.
For some reason, things were messed up. UGH.
Fortunately…I deleted pages and recreated. Simple pages and simple work. YEA!
Things now work. Just strange that something happened between last week and a month ago.
3 pages must be set-up with the appropriate short codes as stated on the Installation Tab
