• Hi,
My site recently broke all of a sudden. I’ve been using Crayon for a month now. And I have no idea why it happened.

    Here is the issue:
The homepage of my site alone threw up 500 ISE (It had the post that used the plugin in the feed)
The rest of the pages were accessible though, except the post where I used Crayon Syntax Highlighter.

PHP stopped processing while loading the plugin. It almost ruined my night :/ There was no trace of PHP errors in the logs. A senior tech rep from my hosting provider helped me find the problem.

I have disabled the plugin for now. I really love it 🙂 Could you please fix the plugin and update it?

  • Hi,

Any chance you could let me know what the solution was? I just got the same problem.

    Thanks

I deactivated the plugin. (Move it out of the plugins folder using FTP)

Thanks, that’s what I ended up doing. It was a real pain, I got to reading what you said again and there are just no errors or traces of where to go looking.
I just took a gamble and renamed that folder knowing I could name it back. That cleared it. Pretty annoying little bug if you ask me.
