• Howdy,

We have a blog for our school and I want to include the option for people to subscribe to get an email any time we make a new post. I know I can do this with things like FeedBurner which is what I have setup right now.

However, I’d like something that can also track to see who received the email, who clicked through the link to read the posts, who never clicked their confirmation email to activate the subscription, and things like that.

Are there any plugins that can do that within WordPress or are there external sites I’d have to use in conjuction with WordPress? I have never looked for a plugin of this type so would rather get a jump by having some referrals and places to start looking if anyone has something to recommend.

Someone I know has their blog hosted at WordPress.com which apparently has a decent subscribe system with tracking built in, but I don’t see a similar thing for wordpress.org.

    Thanks!!

  • Hello,
MailPoet can do that! allows you to see who read the email, who have clicked links inside email, notifies you of new subscribers, give them a thanks or greeting letter, access emails edit newsletter subscription and so so many cool features.
    get it at https://wordpress.org/plugins/wysija-newsletters/
and please, wordpress.org is the best !
