It looks like the posts for all forms go to the page chosen under Advanced Post Search > Settings? I’d suggest for a future release that each form have the option of having its own results page.

It’s sort of working but my results page is breaking the template and showing a different form under the search results that I didn’t put in, any idea why?

    Form:
    http://governance.coop/en/resources-home/

    Results:
    http://governance.coop/en/resources-search/

Also if I just got to the results page directly, it shows Search Results, should it not check to see if anything was posted to the page? Not sure where the 1 result is coming from

Also if I choose items in the dropdowns, results are found, but if I just put a word in the text box, it never finds anything, any idea why or can you specify what field(s) the text box would be trying to match against?

Hi Tenvolt, sorry I’ve not had chance to run through the support threads lately.

Interesting you mention about separate results pages because it’s something I’m working on in 2.0!

In regards to the search parameter, it simply uses the WP_Query parameter which there is isn’t any configuration for.

Is the http://governance.coop/en/resources-search/ results page set up in ACPS->Settings? You’re right too, It shouldn’t load any posts unless something has been searched for…

That page is set up in the Settings, and it does return the proper results if for example I choose Credit Unions in the first dropdown, it will find the post with that tag, the post titled “Formation et qualités requises des administrateurs: outil d’auto-évaluation”.

But if I don’t choose anything in the dropdowns but put “Formation” as a search term in the text box, no results are found.

So I’m wondering if either the text search is broken, or it is searching some field that I’m not aware of. I would think that it would search the title of posts.

Searching “Formation” should find the post with Formation in the title, I’ll take a closer look and get back to you because I’ve not seen this problem before =D

    Any luck?
