Media – Image Details – Replace Image

    I have a number of sites and I noticed that a recent update to WordPress now includes a button “Replace Image” which lets you swap images out – which is great.

    The problem is that it doesn’t always appear on every site.

    I am running WordPress 4.0 on my site and I can’t get the button to appear.

    Is there a specific set of circumstances that makes this button show?

    Very good question. I have seen this button but now I cannot find it. It’s very important to use that feature because uploading a new image creates a different URL leading to 404 errors, I believe. Anybody know exactly how to find this elusive feature?
