    Hello Buruko

Reason might be the slug of this page: http://dev.dadsofdestiny.net/shout/

Can you change it to shoutbox and try again?

    Thanks for the feedback!

Hope to hear back soon ^^

What’s the setting on your permalinks options?

The Permalinks are Post Name ( http://dev.dadsofdestiny.net/sample-post/ ) however there was an Update for Shouty waiting and when I ran it the Shouts now load into the default template as a Post.

So now I just need to figure out how to set a template for the Posts and setup categories as needed so I can make sure the Posts all stay in the same circle.

    Any help with that? 🙂

Well actually I don’t know how you make a template for a custom post type. Google might help you with that. But for categories it’s very easy. Just go Shouts from Dashboard and click Categories under that. Then you’ll see a form for creating categories. After you do that, copy category slug and paste it into the shortcode like [shouty category=”category-slug” …]. Then you’ll post to that category only as well as you’ll see shouts from only that category. If you use only one shoutbox on your entire website, you don’t have to worry about any category just don’t create and don’t include in the shortcode.

I hope everything has been solved in terms of Shouty specific problems. If so, you can set this post as solved. Otherwise you are welcome to post more feedbacks.

    Cheers
