    I uninstalled this plugin months ago, yet according to Google webmaster tools I still have over 1400+ 404’s due to missing pages,tags, etc.

    I have re-installed AIOEC, activated and then deactivated ti to see if any would changes. Still No good.

    When into PHPadmin and manually tried to cleanup the database. Got most of the URLs out that way. Focused on any url with following folders.
    */action~agenda/*
    */action~month/*
    */action~oneday/*
    */ai1ec_event/*
    */action~oneday/*

    added bulk 301 redirects plugin to help with to the htaccess files.

    Any other suggestions?

    Thanks

  • Well if Ai1ec’s not there, of course any bots which try to refresh their info will get an error since the plugin isn’t serving those pages any more.

    FWIW: I’d add all those URLs into a robots.txt file in your site root with all those URLs marked so that bots don’t crawl them. You will get some 404’s as the bots figure out that they’re gone then it’ll die out, except for some persistent bots which don’t bother checking robots.txt
