Affiliate Link Question

    If someone first clicks my affiliate prettylink link to go to a sales page,

    then goes to a different part of the site,

    then goes back to the sales page regularly(not through prettylink), will the sale still be affiliated?

    I didn’t think this would be true but I ended up testing something like this out awhile back and the sale still had the affiliates commission. I just don’t know which plugin he was using.

    It depends on how the merchant tracks, but 99% of the time you will still get the commission. Most merchant’s place a cookie in the users browser that is good for 30+ days, as long as that cookie is still there when they purchase, you get the commission.
