Display gallery by images' tag

I want to display images in a gallery by their tag. So if I have a bunch of images tagged “digital painting” I want to be able to display all the images tagged “digital painting” in a gallery format. The gallery will display by calling up these tagged images. Is there a way to do this? Thanks!
