I have a great question for you guys! πŸ™‚

I have a website that the user can insert e-mail and name to receive an e-book.
The pop-up showed just right on homepage!

The problem is that I’ve used CForm 7 and when the user clicks on “Send”, the loading icon of Cform shows, witch is fine.

The problem is that the WordPress PopUp loading shows up above the e-book download form and doesn’t disappear πŸ™

When i switch to Custom Ajax, the entire pop up disappear right away after click Send, and the user doesn’t get the “Thank you for downloading!” message.

When I switch to Footer, the loading “overlay” doesn’t disappear.

    What can I do? πŸ™

    Thanks!

    Hi!

    it’s http://www.coachingpeople.com.br

The popup is live, but I’ve set the options to “Custom”, so the popup disappear when I click send. πŸ™‚

    Hi @rbrunopinto,

Thank you for sharing the site link.

I could confirm the pop up disappears when i click on send button.

Try using “WordPress AJAX” pop up loading method.

    Hi guys,

I’m also having the same issue.

    Url – http://peppereducation.com/30plus1/courses/30-plus-1/

Pop up settings are set to WordPress Ajax.

The left side uses the shortcode [ajax_login] from this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/zm-ajax-login-register/

Basically if you enter bad credentials you can see under the loader that the login shortcode returns ‘Invalid Username’ but the loader doesn’t disappear.

A quick fix I was using was to just hide the loader but was wondering if you had any other suggestions. I have tried all versions of the settings options. Custom Ajax, WordPress Ajax & Page Footer

    Thanks

    Mark

    Hi WPMU DEV!

When I set to WORDPRESS AJAX the contact form 7 doesn’t work πŸ™

    Hi @rbrunopinto,

Thanks for your reply. I notice you mentioned this in the original post:

When i switch to Custom Ajax, the entire pop up disappear right away after click Send, and the user doesn’t get the “Thank you for downloading!” message.

I’m not really sure how better it could be handled than that since you would want the popup to disappear at that point, no?

I realize there’s no confirmation message in that case, did you require that though?

Or did you instead want the confirmation message to display and the popup simply remains and the user can then close it manually?

@mark, thanks for posting here as well, could I just ask for you to create a new post here though: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/wordpress-popup

Since this thread is specific to Contact Form 7, we’ll need to focus on that and we can then focus on your specific shortcode concern through a distinct thread.

    How does that sound?

Looking forward to getting all this sorted for ya! πŸ™‚

    Cheers,
    David
