Oh, my! This is serious. I’d really appreciate it if I could have more details:
- Does it give any kind of error messages?
- Or any screen messages at all?
- At what stage does it crash? During update or during activation after update?
- By crashing the entire site, do you mean you cannot access the admin page or the blog after update?
Does anybody else experience problems updating the plugin?
The crash causes a white page..
No admin ! No Site! Nothing is accessible.. then you get the message that says briefly down for maintenance so you have to delete the .maintenance file from your root..
after that everything works.. but the plugin is still not updated.. if you try to update it again.. same thing happens
We are talking about the version of the plugin hosted here at wordpress.org, right?
Can you update other plugins without any problems?
yes.. i can update every other plugin no problem… and yes we are talking about the plugin hosted on wordpress.org
