Reading you story, something with the group or the widget seems to be causing this odd behaviour.
Are you using that particulair widget somewhere else also? Maybe in another group? Is that going ok? If so, then we can almost certainly say it has nothing to do with the widget. Have you tried other widgets using the same rule in the group? Does that work?
Thanks for your reply!
I used that same widgets in other groups and they all displayed it.
I tried using other widget for this “problematic” group, but that doesn’t work either. It only displays “In Archive” sidebar all the time. I tried recreating the group once again, but that didn’t help.
Do you maybe have the idea of what can cause this type of behavior?

That’s odd… Apparently it must have something to do with that particular group. Could it be something with the name of the group?
I don’t know, I tried to make a group name a little different, but it doesn’t help.
Hi,
Yesterday I discovered that I’m having difficulties assigning any sidebar to BBpress User’s profile pages as well. No matter what sidebar I assign, nothing is displayed there, but displayed on other pages. I’m confused. What can I do?
I’m running a Responsive child theme, so I switched to Responsive parent theme to see if anything changes. And it did. Widgets showed up on above mentioned page.
So, I’m wondering now, is there a way to fix this, so that they display in my child theme as well?

Ok, so it looks like a theme issue rather then a DW issue. I’m sorry, I’m not able to help you in that matter. Apparently there is a difference between the parent and the child theme for sidebars / widgets.
Ok, thanks! I’ll try to ask in my theme’s support.
