2.1 > “older” recent posts won’t display on main page unless

I edit and save them as drafts then republish them, Ids are fine and those missing posts are still ‘floating around’ because they show up in the archives and list correctly when calling “get recent posts.” Dumb posts think they can run away from me! Just wait until I put them on the back of milk cartons.

The cut off point is a post from last July. I had this strange problem before with the last major wordpress upgrade; I ignored it at the time since I couldn’t figure out the solution and I only had to republish a few posts. I think it might be a database issue, but everything in cpanel checks out.

I’m hoping for a permanent fix so this doesn’t happen again. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks
