    strangely, in 2.1 the code displayed in the editor’s “code view” doesn’t match the code posted. Whenever I enter a <div class=”xxx”></div> in code view it gets transformed into a <p class=”xxx”> without closing bracket. Looking at the site’s source code, the <div>s are still present. This is very confusing. Is there any way to disable the wysiwy editor entirely until this issue has been dealt with?

    thanks samboll, cheers, that was fast :).

    And yes, without the visual editor the code is displayed correctly!

    you may hack tiny_mce_config.php file in the following folder: /wordpress/wp-includes/js/tinymce

    about 24th line:

    $valid_elements = 'p/-div[*],-strong/-b[*],-em/-i[*],-font[*],-ul[*],-ol[*],-li[*],*[*]';

    delete p/-div[*],

    so it will never replace tag div by tag p

    OOOhh, kinky! I like that! Been messing with the TinyFiles and missed that. Thank you!
