• beginning yesterday, after months of operation, both my editor and myself were not able to update a post without getting logged out. If I edited a post and clicked on Update, the Session Expired popup appeared requiring that we login again.
The site is running normally. We are on WP 4.0 and all plugins are current. When logged in we can click all over the dashboard and the site with no problem. But updating a post causes a Session Expired popup.

Followup: I discovered that this error only occurred on the post which had 4 images replaced by this plugin yesterday. There must have been a permissions problem on one of the images.
I deleted and re-created the post with the new images and there is no problem updating the post.
Needless to say, I am very apprehensive about using this plugin.
