    hello sendpress users,

when writing my first email newsletter I experienced an error with anchor text links in the email content. in the edit mode (visual and html) everything looks fine.

but when sending the email or even testing in preview mode the anchor text links are converted and lead to a never ending redirect loop.

I have tried both, the responsive starter template and the old email system, same error.

has anyone already experienced this, too?
if so, thanks for providing me some support!

We are not aware of this issue but I have seen this referenced somewhere else in the forms. Perhaps you could send a couple screenshots or you could send the HTML to me via email: doug at sendpress dot com.

This is a bug in link tracking. Finally caught a developer about it. It should be fixed in the next release. Thanks for your patience!

thanks a lot for taking care of it!

Maybe I miss understood the problem.

When I put a link in an email and send it to myself as a test, the link goes to something like

    http://npscolorado.com/sendpress/eyJpZCI6MCwicmVwb3J0IjoiMjA0OSIsInVybElEIjoxMjU3NCwidmlldyI6ImxpbmsifQ/

I’ve the latest release of Sendpress.

Could you send us the email? And the html from your message as an attachment (separatel of course). Please include the forum link so we know it’s you.

Sendpress was working fine for me for over a year and now I am having a similar issue with all email links going to a url like yours, The Bean, and just a message saying “write error.” This happens with all links, even the unsubscribe links and such. I started a thread here but thought I’d add this here in case you knew how it was resolved for you and that can hopefully help me. I also tried updating sendpress and still same issue.

After trying other suggestions found in other threads I still have the problem. Though what worked was simply going to permalinks in settings and not changing anything but just hitting save anyway and the email links are now working. Hope that helps others.
