    Is this the best our community can do?

    8+ million downloads, direct link to the plugin from the WordPress dashboard and not only the plugin is in beta but it is lagging behind TWO WordPress versions.

    Import is a standard part of WordPress. I think it is time for the core developers to bring this functionality into their code base.

    I agree with you. I commented just a couple of weeks back that this project is a stain on WordPress which I’d like to see fixed. However that is hard without funds which I badly need myself.

    Developers selling XML importers are making $500 a day, I know that for a fact. So there is money going around and people are willing to spend.

    I have installed qtanslate plugin that can support only wordpress 3.8.1 to 3.8.3 but until now wordpress version updated on 4.1 so qtranslate plugin got error(Warning: This plugin has not been tested with your current version of WordPress) cannot add new language and make visual button not work in wordpress back end. I have many posts and pages that have difference 5 languages so if I remove qtranslate plugin and install new one, then I will lost all contents( posts and pages). Therefore, how to make qtranslate plugin can support wordpress 4.1 or how to keep all contents if I use other plugin instead? Can you give me the solution to solve above problem? Thank you in advance.
