    Hi Les,

Tables are almost always styled by the theme.

When you use the editor to create styles to a table; you’re actually over-riding the styles that are used in your theme.

While this is okay in instances where you want to create a table different from your theme; it is better to change your theme to reflect how you want tables to appear on your site. This will help tremendously with consistency.

So, are you wanting to get rid of the table border on all tables.. or just one particular table?

Thanks for the response Josh. I did find exactly what you stated. After I turned off “Borders” in my theme, it worked as I wanted. As I understand it, if I turn off borders in the Theme, I can then add them for one table if I need it. You mentioned “Consistency”. While this can be a good thing, it can also limit creativity.
    Thanks for the help.

    Absolutely…. a double-edged sword 🙂

    Your are correct.
You should be able to adjust the border table via the editor. This will over-ride whatever style is set by your theme for table borders.

That is what I was suggesting.
Change the theme to display tables how you like.
Then, use the plugin to make adjustments to tables when necessary.

    Glad you got it working.

Please let me know if you run into any other ‘table’ issues; since it’s functionality is in relatively high demand.

    Thanks Les.

Josh, thanks for your response on this issue.
