• I’m looking at using this plugin, and so far it seems to do what I want nicely.

However, since I’m back creating photo galleries, it is assigning dates of today for all the old files I upload.

Is there any way through the plugin to alter the date of uploaded photos so they appear in the proper date order? If so, how?

    – What version of NextGEN Gallery did you upgrade from? Non issue, this is first install.

(please confirm the following, with your server host tech) :

    – PHP up to date (at least 5.2.4)? Yes – 5.3.29
    – The mod_rewrite Apache module activated? – Yes

@joe Siegler – The meta data for the date is read from the images in most cases … do the images you are uploading contain that EXIF/IPTC meta data for NextGEN Gallery to read? … and does your server environment support PHP EXIF and PHP IPTC? This should be noted under Gallery > Overview as part of the Server Settings information.

    Thanks!
