• Since I upgraded my WordPress to version 4, Woocommerce is not working properly. The WC version is 2.2.4

The problem lies in the frontend checkout procedure as well in the backend.
In the backend, when I try to manually add a new order, clicking on the small pencil icon to enable the fields to enter any kind of information (ie, billing information or shipping information) nothing happens.
In the frontend, users add items in the cart but the procedure won’t complete.

  • Please check your theme is up-to-date. Enfold version 3.0 is just out. Theme authors have been busy updating their themes to work with the latest WP & WC.

Your site seems to be based on a commercial theme which comes with support. Their support techs know the theme and are best placed to provide support.

Problem solved after the theme was updated

    Spoke to soon…

Actually, although the issue in the backend is solved, it is impossible to complete an order in the frontend. When client fills his/her address, the system hangs and there is a spinning wheel that spins forever in the area where client selects payment method and presses the checkout button.

Woocommerce and Enfold theme are upgraded to latest version. Same for all other plugins.

Check you have the recent update to Enfold, 3.0.1.

Try deactivating all plugins except WooCommerce. If the problem goes away, reactivate your plugins one by one to try to identify the one that is causing the conflict.

If the problem remains when all plugins except WooCommerce are deactivated, try reinstalling WooCommerce. Go to Admin page > Plugins. Deactivate and delete WooCommerce. Your products and settings are in the database and will not be affected. Re-install from a fresh download.

Try re-installing WordPress. Admin page > Dashboard > Updates > “Install Now”

If the problem remains with just WP, WC and your theme in the loop, then it looks like a theme issue so ask the theme vendor for support.
