    Dear all,

I went through the posts but couldn’t get any answer to my question. Hopefully someone will be able to help me, as it might be a frequent question…

I would like, based on the example of the template “Simplify”, to have all my posts going directly under the “BLOG” tab, while maintaining my current main page as the “entrance door” to my website. Can you tell me how you did it?

By default, on my website, “BLOG” is a static page. I would like to transform it into a “platform” that will host all my posts (I hope I am clear, sorry if my terms aren’t really accurate).

By default the blog posts/page will be shown in Front Page as per your Serrtings > Reading

You can hide the Front Page Posts/Page from Appearance > Simplify Options

If you want a separate blog page, you should select a page for Front Page and a page for Blog Index from Settings > Reading. This Article may help you.

This is how I did mine (including the information from D5)…

Create (if you haven’t already) a Page called “Home” with no content and publish. You should not have to worry about order number or other options.

Create (if you haven’t already) a Page called “Blog” with no content and publish. Use an order number to place it in your main menu in the order you desire.

Under Appearance –> Customize go to the bottom selection (Static Front Page) and select the following:

Select the radio button next to “A Static Page”

Select “Home” for the Front Page option

Select “Blog” for the Posts Page option

Save all and you should be good to go.

Thank you so much. I am a beginner but already a big fan of the WordPress communinity. You guys are great!
flylowflyfast, I applied your method and it works perfectly! Thank you

Also, before I close the chapter, if one of you knows how to present the posts in the same way as they are presented (just partly, with the “read more” button). I find it more clean and professional.

Many thanks again to both of you
