Filter categories in Loop

Hey everyone,

I need to seperate my posts by category so I can add a Review block and a News block on my index.

The functionality i want is similar to Kitty’s Specific Category Post plugin.

Does anyone know if this have been implemented in the recent nightlies yet? If not, does Kitty’s plugin work for the new nightlies?
