wordpress migration

    Hi,
    What would be the best way to migrate WordPress environment from Windows 7 to Mac 10.9.4? I have a theme started from scratch (settings, plugins etc..)

    Are you talking about a local install of WordPress on the Mac? If so you will want to install MAMP and then install wordpress. Once you have a verified WordPress install running, I’d use BackupBuddy (a paid plugin) to backup the entire site on teh windows machine (DB and all files) then migrate it to the Mac.

    If the site is on a remote host, there is no migration necessary.
