@timfl, if you have a gallery on two or more pages, you must save the changes in the current page before moving on to the next.
I think that you may have inadvertently clicked on the arrow to the next page before saving, because in the rush and distraction sometimes it happened to me too.

No, everything is on one page, and I wasn’t clicking, I was typing (in my not-so-accurate way)
@timfl – NextGEN Gallery does not have any specifically defined keyboard shortcuts related to editing gallery images (or for that matter any other functions).
Are you able to recreate this issue? If so, what specific steps are you taking?

OK, I figured it out. I was editing the title and alt text tags and i clicked on the image link to see a larger size. Then, instead of closing the lightbox, I clicked the back button. Duh. There’s an explanation for everything…even if it takes a while to find!
