I am using multiple gallerys. Each gallery has 7 images associated with it displayed as thumbnails.

When I click on a thumbnail, a larger window opens displaying the clicked image. I can move through each image by clicking next.

When I reach the last image, I want to be taken back to the first image in that gallery. Unfortunately, I am taken to an image in the next gallery and so on.

    The link is: http://hobartweddingphotographer.com.au/venues-and-locations/

Is there a way to prevent moving to another gallery.

I have tried using the shortcodes but it doesn’t do what I would like.

    Anyone able to help please.

    Thank you

@peterfz30 – This is most likely due to the particular Lightbox Effect you have chosen. We bundle several standard Lightbox effects libraries with NextGEN Gallery as a convenience, some behave with their own special characteristics.

Generally moving to a different Lightbox effect will correct this, you can also try Lightbox effects from other sources as well, I would suggest setting NextGEN Gallery’s to no Lightbox if that is the case.

    Thanks!

    Thank you Cais.

I have removed the LightBox effect as suggested and the problem is still there. I have also tried another effect with no success.

I have this problem on several websites.

@peterfz30 – I am seeing no Lightbox effect in use on your site at the moment … and what you described strongly resembles a known issue with the bundled “Lightbox” Lightbox library.

What are the specific settings you were using before turning off NextGEN Gallery’s Lightbox effects?

    Hi there,

I had the same problem. And noticed that the way to solve it was to avoid using an underscore in the name of galleries. My galleries were named, for example:
    201408_xxx
    201408_yyy
I wanted to add only picts from the 201408_xxx gallery, but nextgen would take all the photos from all galleries starting with 201408_….
I solved the problem by renaming the galleries
    201408xxx
    201408yyy

Didn’t have to change the name of the folders though…
    hope that helps.

well, uh. no, i thought it solved it but it didn’t in fact. Now I have pictures from random galleries adding up… ??

@manuemonod – Thanks for your observations and input although we are not aware of using an underscore character as being an issue.

IF you are having an issue with your specific site/installation it would be best to create a new topic so we can address the problem you are experiencing.

    Thanks!

OK, my problem was the JQueryColorBox plugin.

    De-activating it solved my problem.

Thank you to all for your help.
