I forgot to mention that the Max Events also disappeared in the Widget as well.
In addition a “previous month next” navigation option has appeared in the widget.
When used it completely overrides any limit that exists and shows many more entries.
A small post to get notification of any update
We released some other fixes too soon, which we’ll be working on this weekend.
You can revert to 2.0.2 here:
https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/google-calendar-events.2.0.2.zip
Thanks for your patience while we make more fixes.
Just released patch 2.0.3.1.
If you decide to try it please let us know if it fixes the issue. If not, please give us details and we’ll try to fix it soon.
Thanks.
Hi
I only use the widget but I can see that the navigation has gone from the widget display and the maximum events option is back.
Thanks
Hello !
With tthe new release (2.0.3.1), i vould like to say that all is ok but nothing appears in the widget calendar events.
Bye bye,
Bruno
For exemple : http://upnfatima.be/
With 2.0.3.1 I have the same issue – I need to increase the number of events displayed. The feature stopped working recently, and as of today’s release (2.0.3.1) the behavior has changed but still isn’t right. I use a shortcode like this: [gcall= "1234" max="150"]
.
I get a calendar grid as expected. In today’s version, when I “Next>>” a couple of months ahead to a point that exceeds the default small event limit, the calendar display disappears.
In yesterday’s version (2.0.3), the Calendar remained but the “Next>>” button disappeared when the default (low) number of events was displayed.
What I need is to have the “Next>>” button remain in place to allow advancing until the specified number of events has been displayed. In my case, I want the calendar to be visible up to a year in advance, for scheduling about 20 events per month.
I know the author has been working on the code in this area, and appreciate the prompt responses. It’s not quite right, but clearly getting close.
Hello !
After uninstall plugin and new install, all is ok with 2.0.3.1
Thanks for all.
After the uninstall and reinstall will I have to recreate calendars?
Same question – must we reconstruct our calendar links to resolve issues with max=?
You should not need to recreate your calendars if you have the “Save Settings” option checked in the general settings for the plugin. You may have to fix the retrieve from/until values when they are back in though.
you are saying “You should not need to recreate”…
instead of “You will not have to”…
when I go to delete it says”Are you sure you wish to delete these files and data?”
…what is the data?
That is because our plugin uses an uninstall.php file. That is a default message from WordPress if an uninstall.php file is detected. As long as your option to “Save settings on uninstall” is checked (turned on) then the uninstall code will not be run – otherwise all the plugin data will be removed.

I’ve just updated to 2.0.3.1 and everything looks as intended as far as I can tell. I’ll need to wait a couple of days to see if the caching is working properly.
Thanks Phil and Nick for your prompt responses!
