Optimize Press Integration With IEM

    Hi, I have optimize press on version 4 WP using the IEM addon to add user registrations to Interspire Email Marketer.

    If I create a user in the admin panel the user gets added to Interspire.

    If register using the registration form the user is not added to the Interspire email list.

    IEM Addons says that wordpress can cause problems. Here is what they say:

    The plugin sends all the information added to the user account at the point of the user account creation to Interspire Email Marketer. Information added to or edited in the User Account after the initial user account creation will NOT be sent to IEM. Some “User Registration” plugins for WordPress can cause issues because they create the user account first and then they add the additional user information to the profile. For best results we recommend the “User Registration Aide” plugin by Brian Novotny for advanced user registration functionality that is compatible with our plugin.

    Would this plugin help solve the problem and would it work alongside optimizepress user membership plugin?

    Can’t say for certain, I have no experience using that software. If they say it works, then it probably does work. What I can tell you is that my plugin doesn’t use any special actions or filters on the Registration Form, it follows the WordPress actions and filters and doesn’t stray from that format for security purposes, so from what you are telling me it seems that it should work okay, if not if they have an API maybe I can make some adjustments, however I am on a tight budget and can’t afford to go buying every theme and plugin out there for testing purposes unfortunately.

    All I can say is give it a try and see what happens or contact them since you are a paid member. Let me know what happens, I am interested to find out for myself and for future reference to other users.
