    Hi FatherJonathan1,

You can do this from the theme options panel under the Homepage tab. Scroll down about half way and you’ll see the ThinkUpSlider. Just open the toggle and configure the slide. For more slides hit Add Slide and repeat the process.

    Hope that helps!

Will this only work with a paid account?

I’ve tried doing this and it’s not working without paying.

    Hi there,

Everything in Minamaze (free) works. We don’t lock out features. If it’s not working, please check in another browser. Alternatively, please check your plugins to ensure there are no conflicts going on. You can do this by disabling all your plugins.

Thank you! I will stick with this the,e and just keep trying. 🙂

    Hi,
ThinkUpThemes is right and it works fine. However is it possible to delay or speed up the rate of the slider? Also can you make the images fade into one another? Maybe do the same with some type?
    Thanks
    Carlos

Could someone please, PLEASE post the permitted size of the slide images!!

I checked out original demo slider images that come with Minamaze package, they are 1500px by 350px. (Default slider height is 350px)

I’m really having a VERY frustrating time with this theme trying to change caption text colors in a picture gallery in slideshow mode. I have searched all over this board and tried nearly a dozen fixes posted here and there, none of which appear to be working. I’m not really a noob and the changing of text color should be a VERY simple process in CSS but everywhere I’ve tried to change it doesn’t work.

PLEASE if anyone has ANY hints that may help me…project is overdue and I’m dyin’ here….

    Thanks guys…all help sincerely appreciated.

When I add slides to the home page and hit refresh on my browser to see the changes, nothing changes. I deleted my browser’s cache and everything. This only happens with minimaze, but not other themes I edit. Any clues as to why this happens and how to fix it so I can see my live edits?

OK, I have uploaded the same photo 5 times. Each version of the photo is a different px size and a different Mb size and the slider shows each photo EXACTLY the same. The only thing that changes is the quality of each photo but visually it shows exactly the same area. I

It is NOT possible to optimize any photo for the slider as the theme seems to manipulate it.

This renders the slider utterly useless !!!

Ok, I have sorted this. The problem is that we have all thought that the theme would take resized photos and post them. Provided the height of the photo is the same as the ‘Slider Height’ then we shouldn’t have to worry about the width, right? WRONG

The slider will only (possibly, I have not tried different sizes) accept a photo that is 1500 (width) x 350 (height). The chances are that if you resize a photo to this size then you will have to ‘un-tick’ any aspect locking and the result will be that this will distort the photo.

The way around this is to start with a blank canvass with the same colour as the background colour of your site and set to 1500×350. Then past your photo on to it and then save the canvas as a jpg. You can then use this photo for the slider.

This nugget of info would have saved me hours. I hope this helps someone else.

I also do not get the slider timing options

I am using 1920×350 and it works quite well for my page.
