    Hi !
My course is published, my lesson is live and the acessible date is before today,
but nothing display on the unit page if I used on other theme than the default.

Is that per design or is it some kind of bug ?
Must I used the default theme or is there any way to create units/course template ?

    Thanks for listening ! πŸ™‚

    Hi there X-Raym,

    Hope you’re well today! πŸ™‚

CoursePress works great with any theme coded to WordPress coding standards http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Coding_Standards

Could you link me to your site please (if possible make sure registration is open) and also let me know which theme you are using.

    Thanks!

    Kind Regards
    Jack.

Does WPMU have any kind of theme specially for CoursePress?

    I am well πŸ˜€

I guess my theme used non WordPress Coding Standards, but I tested with 5 other themes, without more success.
I tested Bizmo, Highwind, and some others.

The error isn’t high priority because I was just for testing, it is not my actual running website πŸ™‚
Note : I just noticed that I have the same error with the Dashboard – Courses page.

But if you wanted to now more anyway, you can go on the website here.

Note : I have to admit that your theme is so nice with your plugin that I think that if I had a e-learning website to do with your plugin, I will probably just make some tweaks to your theme πŸ˜›

@faysal Shahi : Yes, the CoursePress theme πŸ˜›

    Hi,
    I’ve got the same problem.
Ich there a possibility to use a kind of “Full Width Content” Template?!

    Hi All,

@faysal Shahi, CoursePress includes a awesome fully responsive theme out the box, just go to wp-admin > appearance to activate.

@x-raym, does this work in twenty fourteen for you?

@beohs, could you let me know what theme your using please and also check in twenty fourteen?

    Thank you!

    Kind Regards
    Jack.

It doesn’t work for Twenty Fourteen.
As with the other themes, it just displays the title.

Hope it can help you, I know you will find a way πŸ˜›

    Using BuddyBoss theme.

Oh ! I think Ijust get it !

I just used the single-unit from the course press and paste it into my theme πŸ™‚

I understand now that the idea is to customize our custom post template file with do_shortcodes function etc. Of course we can use the default template file but we have to paste it into our theme (and it can not work) but we have the possibility to make a template from scratch using your shortcodes !

Well, I think this must be said more clearly somewhere, but now… it works πŸ˜€

    Hi there @x-raym and @beohs,

Hope you’re both well today, we’ve managed to replicate this now and are working on a fix.

Appreciate your patience on this, I’ll let you know as soon as we’ve released a fix.

    Kind Regards
    Jack.

    (@x-raym)

    Hi πŸ™‚

Because the fix involve a custom template file ( single-unit.php ) we just have to take single-unit.php of CoursePress theme and put it into our theme πŸ™‚
What we missed was just a bit of documentation in the plugin on that process it makes sens now and I can say that the plugin itself works very well πŸ˜›
We can even create our own template with do_shortcode actions !

    Hey guys,

please download and test 1.0.9 version and let us know does it work for you now.

    Thanks!

    Thread Starter X-Raym

    (@x-raym)

It still not work by default with 1.0.9, we have to manually put a single-unit.php into our template file.
But as I already said, we can do it manually.

    Hiya @x-raym,

Glad that’s working for you, depending on the theme that may be needed.

But I can confirm after extensive testing that there was a issue here with units displaying which has been resolved. πŸ™‚

If you could double check in twenty fourteen that would be great (I can confirm my install works there now), make sure the units are published. πŸ™‚

No worries, if you’d rather not test that. πŸ™‚

Hope you have a great upcoming weekend!

    Kind Regards
    Jack.

    Hi Jack πŸ˜€

Yes, courses are published, there are visible on the CoursePress theme,
I just test with twenty fourteen and it didn’t work =/
Well, you just have to say how to do deal with that in the docs and it will be ok πŸ˜›

Thank you my week end πŸ˜›

    Cheers !

    Hi @x-raym,

    Thank you for your patience.

I have tested it on my test site using twenty fourteen theme and default CoursePress theme and found the single unit page is displaying fine without any issue.

Could you please share me the screenshot of single unit pages which you see on both pages and also share its URL so that we can troubleshoot it?

For screenshots, you can simply provide a link to an image through Google Drive, Dropbox, screencast.com, http://imgur.com/ or other image service. πŸ™‚

Make sure you are using latest version of CoursePress plugin.

    Regards,
    WPMU DEV
