    Hi Folks,

FYI, Until your last series of updates, iThemes Security was correctly reporting that my Admin/User#1 status was OK – which it is.

Since the last few updates – about 1+ week now – they always show the yellow warning: “A user with id 1 still exists” when it certainly does not.

    Regards and thanks, Jill

  • Hey Jill,

Could you try clearing your cache and see if that helps?

    Thanks,

    Hi Gerroald,
Thanks but clearing cache makes no difference.
I reactivated the plugin after upgrade to Version 4.4.13 on Build Version: 4034 – but no change.
Then I noticed that the top box says – ID1 not removed, but below it says Admin is removed… Sorry I missed that first time around.
Please see screen capture FYI: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5053758/iTS.jpg
It does not worry me, but I thought you should know about it 🙂

    Regards and thanks, Jill

It is a bug from the last couple of of updates. Before version 4.4.9 there was no such issue. But after that, it always warning for User ID 1, even though there is no such Id or default admin user. Clearing cache doesn’t work either. Yes, it is a bug from last couple of updates.

    Hey All,

This has been fixed and will be released in the next update!

    Thanks,

    Gerroald
