I have the same plugins on this site so I did not update Quick Event Manager and testimonials are working fine.

Thank you for letting me know about this issue. It’s tracked via https://github.com/michael-cannon/testimonials-widget/issues/133 now.
It’ll probably be a month before resolution as I’m working on version 3.0.
Can you please email your old copy of Quick Event Manager source code to support@aihr.us?
I want to diff the current and past to see what could be causing the conflict.
Sorry, still another day or so before I can dig into this.
I’ve not been able to replicate this issue on my development system with theme twentytwelve and Testimonials Widget 2.19.9.
Is it possible to get access to your live system? Send admin login to support@aihr.us.

Quick Events Manager is rolled back to an older version 5.7.1 so it would work while I was away for a few days.
I will
- upgrade to the latest QEM. 5.10 (which I have not tried yet)
- send access credentials to you
- verify that Testimonials Widget is the latest version 2.19.9 (yep)
