Can you provide a little more information as to how it messes up?
Does it prevent the post from being published? Excerpt is incorrect? Other?
It prevents the post from publishing. The post shows up as ‘Missed Schedule’ and how many minutes after the post was schedule to post. I found this out by deactivating all my plugins and scheduled a post. Everything worked until I activated fancy excerpt.
I’m scratching my head a little on this one as the only interaction with WP hooking into ‘get_the_excerpt’. This basically returns the excerpt when requested by WP, a theme, etc.
What theme are you using on your site? Maybe there is some conflict with it and the plugin.
I did try and schedule a post with WP 4.0 and it published as schedule.
