Help Help I can not log in – its says cooldown in effect

    Hi, I can not log in! Arrghhhh….. it was telling me that my password was incorrect, so First I reset my password . . . . then it told me I had to wait 10 seconds . . . then that my cookies were not turned on . . . on now cooldown again….

    I Have

    emptied cache
    allowed cookies
    reset computer
    waited at least 15 minutes

    I have been trying to log in for an hour . . .

    Pleaase help!

    I am using chrome and I have tried to log in on safari too

    Do note that the user name and password for your personal WordPress site is (and should be) different then your user account and password to these forums.

    Thank you. Yes I am trying to log in with a different username and password
    One thing that i did do last night is delete a load of spam users. Other then that I have not changed anything..

    Please anyone —- idea

    I have now restored my back-up and I still can not get in!

    i have the same problem. yesterday i was working on my website from admin pannel and then i push log out to log in from a nother account and it doesent let me log in again. I put the Admin User and pass in and push log in it charges like 5-10 sec and then it just refresh the page and thats it., But my website is working

    Are you using a firewall or security plugin?

    Did you tried disable all your plugins?
