• I just updated about-geocaching.com and it took about 1/2 hour last evening for me to be able to access the actual site after the update.

However, after seeing the site reappear, and after trying everything I could think of, I still cannot access the login to make changes to my site. All I get after clicking the login button is a white screen.

I have refreshed and cleared caches repeatedly, to no effect.

Can someone point me in the right direction to resolve this? I have other sites, but I sure won’t update WP until I get this resolved.

    Thanks,.

  • In the websites main directory locate the file wp-config.php and edit the line that references WP_DEBUG and change FALSE to TRUE.

You should see errors that will give you more clues.

Disabled all plugins, no change. Disabled theme, no change. I cannot log in, and once through the password phase only get a white screen.

While I appreciate there are fixes, that an upgrade to WordPress caused this, and now I have to jump through unfamiliar hoops to try and fix this update caused problem is both time consuming and disappointing.

I cannot locate the file wp-config.php and wonder if you could advise in what directory I should find it and I’ll try that?

    Thanks,

    B.

    Found it.

Now, does anyone know what this means and what I do about it?

Fatal error: Class ‘WP_Session_Tokens’ not found in /xxx/xxx/public_html/about-geocaching.com/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 879

I replaced the home and user directory info with xxx’s, in case you are wondering why they are there.

    Thanks,

    Bill
