    Hey Folks,

It worked fine in 3.9.2, but after upgrade to 4.0 it presents me with a work area that it too long for my laptop screen requiring me to scroll back up when I go from text to visual mode and then back to text mode. I used to be able to grab the bottom of the work area where the word count is located and drag it back up to make it fit the page. Doesn’t work anymore and is rather annoying, costing me time and energy for each blog entry I create.

Maybe I’m doing something wrong or have overlooked a way to control this, but it’s certainly a different experience from v3.9.2…..

Any help will be very much appreciated,

Let me modify the problem description somewhat: Whenever I choose any modification of an item such as italicize or bold or create a link after selecting the word in my text, I am taken to the very bottom of the post. This necessitates my scrolling back up to the top to resume my typing. It’s a big problem when I go to proof the post and wish to modify the text.

Well, it looks like nobody else has the same problem, but it still exists for me. What I want to happen is that the work area stays in the same position when I make changes to the text in Text mode. Currently, it will either automatically scroll to the top or to the bottom, making it necessary for me to scroll back to the place where I was making changes… This is very annoying!

My platform is a laptop using Windows 8.1 and my browser is IE 11. Same problem if I use Firefox 31.

Click the Screen Options tab at the top, then uncheck the box labeled ‘Expand the editor to match the window height’.

This should revert you back to the old style.

Thank you sooooooooo much! I have no idea how that box got checked. I certainly did not do it intentionally. Bless you…
