• I created a new job and ran it but it does not know where to save the backups. I checked the box to back up to Dropbox, but there is no place to put in my Dropbox credentials. There is a link to create a new dropbox account, but that is not helpful to me since I already have one. So far not finding this plugin very user-friendly. Disappointed since I heard it was the best 🙁

  • Did you ever get this resolved? I have the same observation: I can tick off ‘dropbox’ but no where to enter my credentials.

You have to authenticate the application. click the button to authenticate and follow the instructions. It should take you to dropbox and ask for permission to add. Once authenticated you should be set. You do not fill in your credentials per se.

    Yes it does. It’s easy.

Choose Add a Job from the menu.
On that screen under DESTINATION – check DropBox.
HIT SAVE CHANGES AT THE BOTTOM.

A new tab will appear at the top that says: TO:DROPBOX
Go to that tab. See: Authentication – it will guide you.

So you need to create a job before you can connect DropBox.
    I hope this helps.

Sorry I did not read the original question correctly.
It should take you to DropBox screen to authorize.
