Akismet Login wont allow admin as a username | WordPress.org

Hi

I have tried for a while now to get an API key since I am being spammed like crazy but my username is admin and Akismet refuses to accept that or give me an alternative solution – please help me, I’m desperate. Thanks

admin is your username on your blog, but when you log into Akismet.com, you need to use your WordPress.com username. If you don’t have one, you can register for one for free: http://wordpress.com/signup/?user=1
