My dev environment is test.com/site1, test.com/site2, etc. I’ve recently moved a theme from using old-skool category navigation to using the drag n drop dynamic menu.
When I drag the home tab over to the menu, it says test.com/site1. If I put / in the field, it redirects to test.com. Neither of those is good for when I move to the live server. There doesn’t seem to be a nice checkbox for “root of your current site” like the PHP function get_option(‘home’); or similar.
When I move my theme to the live site I won’t be doing a database dump, as the content on the live server is newer than the dev server. I do want to export the menus and widgets however.
a) is there a plugin to do this,
or
b) do I just manually set up the menus etc again?
Any advice appreciated, thanks!
