How to add footer sidebar for widgets

    I wanted to know how to add a footer area so I can put in social icons on the bottom of the site.

    My homepage doesn’t have a sidebar, because I like the wider look, but want to add a footer area to add in social icons and things like that.

    How can I do that?

    Hi,
    I like the wider look better as well 🙂
    Coeur does not yet allow you to have widgets in the footer area, I’ll add this option in the next theme update which should be out in less than two weeks.

    I am using the theme for my blog and loving it so far. A footer widget would make it all the more fantastic!
