• Hi all,

I have our new site built with wordpress and it looks perfect in firefox and other browsers BUT IE7 adds an extra line above the Category (Archive) pages, why!??? I cannot find anything in the CSS to explain it… also, even worse, is that IE6 messes with what I am assuming is the padding to knock my 2 column layout out of sync 🙁 – the right hand (main) column goes underneath the left column… how to fix?

Any help much appreciated! My site is HERE

BTW, a tip for all site developers out there – good idea is to check your site at http://www.browsershots.org – this is what revealed these issues for me! 🙁

Any ideas about my problem would be much appreciated – I’ve spent the last 3 hours trying to work this out and I truly am stuck

Fix your code errors, make sure that your images are not too wide for their content column, and search Google for:

    ie box model

    ie css hack

Thanks – I will look at this – is there any specific error on the list that would cause my right column out like it is doing??

Something involving a div tag can cause this.

I fixed the issue – it was a simple padding issue that IE6 was overcooking – fixed now and thanks for your help!
