• I would like to make the page content area underneath the header wider.
I have added the Plug In Child Themes because these forums seem to think that it was I should use to do that, but I am a novice in terms of code so I couldn’t understand what to do next. I created my second child theme but didn’t make any changes.

I really need a step by step detailed explanation – is there one out there that I’m missing?

  • I’m still looking for this too. I’ve created the twntythirteen-child directory, and tried modifying the style.css and full-width.php files, uploaded them to the child theme directory, but lack the knowledge to modify the functions.php file for the child directory to – at least I think – connect all the dots.

As amandamomentum writes, is there a fairly simple step-by-step for us noobs?

    Thanks.

@amandamomentum, Can you link your site?

@wrw51, You can follow the support on this thread and create your own thread; https://wordpress.org/themes/twentythirteen#postform

Thank you. Will review the forum for twentythirteen and when I need more help, will create a post there.
