How to monitor my blog author activity?

    Hi,
    I’d like to have information about activity of my blog authors, be able to add some widget with most active author list.

    Maybe somebody know some solution for this. Does anyone have any ideas? Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Hello MY2000, have you tried searching the plugins directory? There are quite a few available that will add this type of widget to your site.

    Thank you bi-wan-kenobi,
    I found one, called ‘author and post statistic widget’, this helps me to show most popular author’s activity on a widget. However I still searching for a plugin to be able live-time monitor my authors activity.
    # Who is online
    # What do they on this moment
    # How much disc space they use (db and media)
    # How many posts and comments they do per day
    # What posts/pages they visit in my site
    # What browser they use
    # Activity log (for example: user X just changed his password)
    # and so on….

    The free version of WP Slimstat will probably tick most of the boxes for you, with premium add-ons available for added functionality.

    Hi My2000,

    Have you tried WP Security Audit Log plugin? It monitors your WordPress for any type of activity and not just blog post authors, hence allowing you to keep an eye on the security of your WordPress.
