• Because many of my friends use Xanga, I have been wanting to add a Xanga cross-posting feature to my WordPress blog. I knew that such a plugin was already available (Croissxanga), but because the developer’s website was down indefinitely, I could not download it. Wanting to add the feature before second semester started, I ported Mark Wang’s MT Perl script to a WordPress PHP plugin.

    While that much would simply be a duplication of the Croissxanga plugin, I have extended Wang’s script to support syncing edits and deletes from WordPress to Xanga. In other words, if you edit or delete a post on WordPress, your change will be synced with Xanga (only applies to entries posted after the plugin is installed, unless set up manually).
