• I followed the instructions to get the upgrade plugin working. After I activated it and ran it, it said it needed my FTP details. I filled them in and clicked ‘Let’s Go’. It then just hung and wouldn’t respond. Initially, my site wouldn’t appear, but it came back after 5 minutes. What else could I try?

  • I have the same the problem. I contacted my host provider, Network Solutions, and they were not help. They said I was entering the correct information for FTP access. I don’t know where to go from here.

I’m haveing the same problem- plugin wont accept my ftp info 🙁

all the info i add is correct, have tried various things for ftp host, ip with/without http/ftp, domain with http://ftp.domain and without etc I am able to ftp in via my ftp prog I have no idea why the plugin gives me:
Oops!!!!! We are unable to connect to the ftp site with the data your provided, could you cross check and give us the data again.

What is the correct format to add into the section ftp host please?

This has to do with your password. The password won’t pass special characters. <>/()*&*^%$#@! etc

Change the FTP password to alpha numeric and it will work.

This is the error I get. Great plugin but it seems really finicky.
