• Hi there,

I have been using Windows Live Writer for quite sometime. Recently the posts made to my WordPress 2.6.2 blog have been pretty screwed up by it.

It looks something like this (on the main page):

    ptest/p ptest/p ptest/p pimg title="image" border="0" alt="image" src="http://mydomain.com/wp-content/uploads//image44.png" width="101" height="59" //p

If you were to notice, the problem was caused by the brackets < > being removed.

I thought it was a WLW problem so I tried it with my WordPress.com blog, but it works fine.

Then, I tried it with my plain newly installed self-hosted WordPress blog running on the same server and the same problem occurred again.

I tried using the editor Blogdesk (blogdesk.org) to no avail. Same problem.

    BTW my server is running:

    mySQL version: 5.0.51a-community
    php version: 5.2.5

In the mean time, I am blogging through WordPress’ admin panel.

Hope that my issue can be resolved.

    Thank you very much!
