An error appears in the console window.
TypeError: $(...).children(...).first is not a function http://www.apel.org.ar/wp-content/plugins/popups/public/assets/js/min/public-ck.js?ver=1.0.7
May be try an old version instead
Where can I get an old version from?
Thanks

Add in your functions.php
define( 'SPU_DEBUG_MODE', true );
To use the unminified version of javascript so we can see where the error is coming from
Hi – I tried to insert but probably did it in the wrong place because the whole site went down 🙂 I wasn’t even able to get into wp-admin.
Had to rollback.
Any tips on the exact place to include this? More than newbie, sorry…

You can try placing it in functions.php
right after the <?php
So it should read something like :
<?php
define( 'SPU_DEBUG_MODE', true );
Always try using FTP, that way you can undo things faster if something goes wrong
sorry, still failing. whole site goes blank…

Try pasting your entire functions.php is pastebin.org or some place similar so we can see

You are using a plugin that is loading a very old version of jquery. Try deactivating the thickbox plugin
Great! I deactivated the lightbox plugin and it now works.
So:
– What aare the cons for deactivating thickbox
– Is updating jquery something I can do or is that hosting provider’s responsibiity?
Thx

the problem is that plugin. Plugin should never include jquery as it comes with wordpress core. You need to know why you had that plugin in the first place, im afraid I can not help you with that.
