    [How do I] Add a Pound Sign # to each post id,

    I tried <?php the_ID(‘#’); ?> but that didn’t work. I don’t want a graphic, just a simple # next to each number, example
    #1 – [Headline] Welcome to my blog!
    #2 – This is the second blog post!

    right now it looks like:
    1 – [Headline] Welcome to my blog!
    2 – This is the second blog post!

    How do I accomplish this?
