Validation-Link is gone from the Admin panel after the update. Using a direct link (created previously with v1.x) is displaying a page stating that I have insufficient rights to view the page.

Verified with 2 different self-hosted blogs. If you need further information please contact me.

Thanks a lot in advance for fixing it 🙂

okay, seems like I’ve overseen the new concept by having it in the list of blog entries and pages. But to be honest, I don’t like this solution since it eats two columns and makes me unable to properly read the other columns I’m using for administration. It would be better to have a dedicated page to check the validation and to hide the columns in the blog entry and page list. Also, a dedicated page would also cover costum pages that are registered in the DB.

Another thing is that I have to press “Check” for each single entry which is a pain if I have a blog with 1000+ pages. Since an update of wordpress or a plugin can cause issues in a random post I’ll not be able to find it without clicking the check button 1000 times each time an update of something was performed.

Therefore I’d like to request a dedicated page to validate the whole page at once like it was before.

    Thanks a lot 🙂

@voltshock – To hide the columns on the pages or posts admin page, go to Screen Options and uncheck the column(s) you wish to hide.

The older version of the plugin was insecure and was very resource intensive when running automatically with numerous pages and posts. Therefore, the manual method was chosen. However, I fully understand your dilemma and I am making plans to add a “Check All” button to the pages/posts admin page. That way, you can select the number of pages/posts to display from Screen Options and then click the “Check All” button to check every page/post displayed.

    Thank you for your feedback.

    Hi Allan,

Thank you for your quick response. To hide the columns I’m fine. I would appreciate it if you can find a solution to check multiple items at once like you described above. I’m looking forward.

I tried several (of the few existing) plugins to validate the page and yours was there only one that was able to do the job well. Therefore I hope you’re continuing your great work.

    Best regards,
    Markus
