How do I open a menu link in a new window

    hi,

    in previous versions of wordpress (3.8.4), when I created a custom link in the menu, there was an option to “open link in a new window”. I am building a new site in 3.9.2 and the open link in a new window is no longer an option. How can I still have this work?

    Go to your admin panel, Appearance -> Menus

    Click the “Screen Options” tab in the upper-right side of the screen.

    On the slidedown menu… make sure “Link Target” is checked.

    Now, open the item you wish to modify the link, and you should see the option to open link in new window.
