subscribe2 dashboard user settings doesn't check role capabilities?

    We have a site with Subscribe2, and the only people allowed to post are admins. The others are author role, but we’ve eliminated their post-related capabilities. Nonetheless, all such users are listed in user settings under “Do not send notifications for post made by these authors.” This seems to imply that Subscribe2 builds that list by checking for author role and above, without checking capabilities; is this correct? Could this be readily fixed?

    @jim,

    Indeed, Subscribe2 collects all users with a role of Administrator, Editor and Author.

    If you need to tidy that screen up you could use the ‘s2_authors’ hook, documented here.
